A Half-Term Day Out Fit for Royalty

Nearly 150 junior Hampshire Cricket members got the chance to meet their heroes on Wednesday 2nd June.

Nearly 150 5-15 year olds have been given the chance to meet their heroes. On Wednesday 2nd June, the Junior Hawks Hampshire Cricket members met the entire Hampshire Cricket Squad at The Rose Bowl and enjoyed having photos taken, as well as memorabilia signed by the likes of World Cup winner, Michael Lumb, Hampshire Captain, Dimitri Mascarenhas and England Lions star Michael Carberry.

The day was organised as part of the Junior Hawks membership package which includes:

- Tickets to all Hampshire Cricket’s home LV County Championship matches
- Tickets to all Friends Provident Trophy group games and NatWest Pro40 matches (excluding playoffs)
- Twenty20 matches from just £2.50 per game
- Exclusive coaching sessions with Hampshire Cricket First Team Players

- Chances to join Harry and the Hawks as a match day mascot

Two flagbearers and twelve other lucky Junior Hawks were also selected to form part of a Guard of Honour which will lead out the Hampshire Royals when they play the Kent Spitfires in the Friends Provident t20 competition on Thursday night.
