Hampshire are Englands new Under-17 County Champions

Hampshire are England's new Under-17 county champions !  They clinched the coveted national title with a thumping 334-run victory over Durham at Hove.

Hampshire batted Durham out of the game during the first day, piling up a mammoth 470-8 off their 100 overs, with Hamza Riazuddin (146) producing a stunning century after Tim Ravenscroft (100) and James Vince (93) had put 253 runs on the board.
Durham were never in the hunt.  They reached 88-2 just after lunch on day two, but Isle of Wight pair Danny Briggs (5-19) and Tom Friend (4-30) sent their last eight wickets crashing for 48 runs.
