Hampshire v Gloucestershire FPTS
Hampshire Cricket
HAMPSHIRE HIT BY WEATHER
Hampshire were left frustrated when their Friends Provident Trophy match against Gloucestershire at Bristol on Sunday was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Continuous rain led the umpires to call the match off at 1pm with the playing area saturated.
Shane Warne's team took one point from the wash-out, leaving them lying third in the South Division with five points from four matches.
Hampshire had been looking to make it three wins out of four in the competition this season, having beaten Middlesex and Ireland and lost to Essex.
Hampshire's next FP Trophy match is this Friday (May 18) against Somerset under The Rose Bowl floodlights. Two days later Hampshire will be at home again, against Sussex on Sunday.
