Loughborough hold on for a draw as Parsons and Balcombe prosper
Hampshire's 3 day friendly against Loughborough UCCE ended in a draw as they fell one wicket short of victory on the final day.
Hampshire declared their 2nd innings on 160 for 2, Jimmy Adams (67) and John Crawley (54) both recording half centuries.
This left Loughborough 249 for victory in 51 overs.
Balcombe and Parsons did the damage for Hampshire with the ball. Parsons finishing with figures of 3 for 39 and Balcombe finished with 2 for 38. Riazuddin and Dawson picked up one a piece as Loughborough managed to bat out their 51 overs to finish on 196 for 9.
