LVCC Hampshire vs Lancashire
Andrew Flintoff made just 12 as Hampshire took the upper hand on day two against Lancashire at Liverpool.
Batting at number three, Flintoff hit one four and a six in his 12-ball stay before he was caught by Chris Benham off the bowling of Dimitri Mascarenhas.
After day one was washed out, Chris Tremlett (4-49) and Dominic Cork (3-43) helped dismiss the hosts for 208.
Hampshire then closed the day on 124-4, with James Vince unbeaten on 34 and captain Nic Pothas 35 not out.
After Lancashire won the toss, openers Paul Horton (37) and Mal Loye (18) shared 47 before Loye fell lbw to Cork.
Mascarenhas then picked up the wickets of Horton and Flintoff before Tremlett ripped through the Lancashire middle order.
Returning from a six-week layoff because of an abdominal strain, Tremlett had VVS Laxman and Steve Croft caught by Pothas, Faf du Plessis snared by Benham and then trapped Kyle Hogg lbw.
Luke Sutton (25) and Glen Chapple (27) then shared 41 for the eighth wicket before both fell lbw to Cork.
Saj Mahmood (30 not out) produced some lusty hitting to earn Lancashire a batting point before James Tomlinson trapped Gary Keedy leg before to wrap up the innings.
Hampshire started badly when Chapple struck to remove opener Jimmy Adams for just nine before Michael Carberry and Michael Lumb moved the score on to 50.
Hogg trapped Lumb lbw and Keedy removed Carberry and Benham to leave the visitors wobbling on 71-4.
But Vince and Pothas combined in an unbroken fifth-wicket stand of 53 to take Hampshire to the close, with Flintoff ending the day with figures of 0-16 from seven overs.
