Liam Dawson signs new 3 year contract
Hampshire Cricket is delighted to announce that Liam Dawson has signed a new 3 year contract with the Club.
The left-arm spinner and middle order batsman, is one of the country’s most exciting young players and he has already represented England at Under 19 level in 4 youth Tests and 18 youth ODIs. He has played a major role with both bat and ball, in Hampshire’s return to form in the second half of this season, including picking up two Man-of-the-Match awards in NatWest Pro40 matches.
Earlier this month Dawson was nominated alongside England and Nottinghamshire seamer Stuart Broad, England and Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara and Kent opener Joe Denly for the prestigious Young Cricketer of the Year Award.

“The long term deal that Liam has been offered reflects how highly he is regarded. We see him playing a big part in Hampshire Cricket’s future. I can’t think of a more exciting young prospect in the country.”
