Live TV Fixtures Announced by Sky Sports

Minimum of eight Hampshire matches to be shown

Hampshire fans will be able to watch their team live on Sky Sports a minimum of eight times in 2012 with The Rose Bowl itself making a minimum of six TV appearances throughout the year.

Sky’s TV cameras [pictured, right at The Rose Bowl's England v Sri Lanka Test match last year] will be present at five Royals matches in the Clydesdale Bank 40 and a further three in the Friends Life t20. In addition, The Rose Bowl’s NatWest Series One Day Internationals between England and the West Indies (16 June) and England and South Africa (28 August) will be shown in their entirety ensuring a packed schedule for fans of South Coast cricket.

A full list of televised matches definitely involving Hampshire and /or The Rose Bowl is as follows:

Thursday 14 June	Sussex v Hampshire	Friends Life t20
Saturday 16 June	England v The West Indies	NatWest ODI Series
Wednesday 20 June	Surrey v Hampshire	Friends Life t20
Saturday 30 June	Hampshire v Surrey	Friends Life t20
Sunday 15 July	Hampshire v Durham	Clydesdale Bank 40
Tuesday 17 July	Nottinghamshire v Hampshire	Clydesdale Bank 40
Friday 10 August	Welsh Dragons v Hampshire	Clydesdale Bank 40
Tuesday 14 August	Hampshire v Somerset	Clydesdale Bank 40
Tuesday 28 August	England v South Africa	NatWest ODI Series

In addition, there are still four potentially crucial Hampshire matches which could be televised (TBC) depending on importance. They are as follows:

Friday 6 July	Hampshire v Sussex	Friends Life t20 (Penultimate Group Match)
Sunday 8 July	Hampshire v Essex	Friends Life t20 (Final Group Match)
Monday 27 August	Durham v Hampshire	Clydesdale Bank 40 (Final Group Match)
11 – 14 September	Derbyshire v Hampshire	LV= County Championship (Final Match)

Of course, all quarter-final, semi-final and final matches will also be televised meaning Hampshire and The Rose Bowl could be shown up to 19 times in 2012. In total, Sky Sports will show 65 live fixtures from across the three county formats.
