Rose Bowl Plc is pleased to announce that Neil Diamond has been confirmed to perform at The Rose Bowl on June 17th 2008 as part of his 2008 European Tour.

Diamond is one of the most successful performers of all time, recording a number of hits in the 1960’s 70’s and 80’s. To date he has sold over 130 million records and is one of the most popular live performers in the world. He is in the top 3 of the most successful adult contemporary artists in the history of the Billboard chart.

Getting to The Rose Bowl

This information will help you plan your journey to and from The Rose Bowl. We would like you to enjoy your visit and recommend that you plan your journey to and from the ground carefully.

On Event Days there is a Controlled Parking Scheme in place on roads in the immediate vicinity of the ground and you are advised that any vehicle found to be parked in contravention of 'No Waiting' regulations may be dealt with by the Local Authority.
Please beware that Botley Road (B3035), the approach road to The Rose Bowl is closed to vehicular traffic with the exceptionof Rose Bowl parking pass holders.

Travelling by Car - Car Parking Information


Parking close to The Rose Bowl for this event costs £12 in advance, at The Rose Bowl’s Park and Walk site. This is approximately 200m from the entrance of The Rose Bowl and is clearly signposted from Tollbar Way (B3342), off Junction 7 of the M27.

Car Parks will open at 16.30 and will remain open until 23.30.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY STEWARDS AND PARK WHERE INSTRUCTED

All vehicle parking is on the understanding that Rose Bowl PLC and its agents accept no responsibility in respect of loss or damage howsoever caused to vehicles, the contents thereof, or any injury to the occupant(s) thereof or any persons visiting the Car Park. All vehicle parking is subject to Rose Bowl PLC’s Terms and Conditions, details of which are available for inspection on request.

Drop Off and Pick-up points
The Rose Bowl operates two pick-up and drop-off points.

POINT A - Moorgreen Hospital - adjacent to The Rose Bowl on Botley Road (B3035). Access to the drop-off/pick point is only available from West End High Street (B3035).

POINT B - Wickes Car Park - off Tollbar Way (B3342), from Junction 7 off the M27.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO PICK UP OR DROP OFF POINTS AT THE ROSE BOWL.

Travelling by Motorbike/Bicycles
Motor cycles and bicycles are permitted to park free at The Rose Bowl, in the Park and Walk site. All parking is subject to availability.

Park and Ride


The Rose Bowl is operating two Park and Ride schemes for this event.

PAY ON THE DAY ONLY

Park and Ride West - Junction 5, M27
Park and Ride East - Junction 8, M27

Please follow the signs from the relevant motorway junction to our Park and Ride Car Parks

The Park and Ride car parks will open from 16.30 until 23.30.

To guarantee a space the Rose Bowl recommends that you book your space well in advance of the event. 
Tickets cost £7 in advance or £10 on the day of an event for cars (maximum 7 seats), £10 in advance or £15 on the day of an event for minibuses (8-16 seats).

Public Transport

Travelling by Rail
The Rose Bowl will be operating a shuttle bus service from Southampton Parkway and Hedge End stations, running
17.00-23.30. Tickets for this service are available onboard at a cost of £5 return.

Southampton Parkway Station - trains from London
Waterloo to Bournemouth and Weymouth.

Hedge End Station - trains from Portsmouth, Winchester
and Basingstoke.
