Rose Bowl plc Appoints New Non-Executive Director
Rose Bowl plc is delighted to announce that Tottenham Hotspur Executive Director, Paul Barber, will be joining the Rose Bowl plc Board as Non-executive Director.
The appointment is effective from 1st July 2009.
Rose Bowl plc Chairman, Rod Bransgrove said,
‘I am very pleased that Paul has decided to join our Board and we are all looking forward to his input. From Tottenham, Paul brings a wealth of experience of a major stadium-based sports business and from his time at the FA, a thorough understanding of the workings of a national governing body. This experience will complement the knowledge and skills base of our existing executive and non-executive team at a very exciting and important period in The Rose Bowl’s history.’
Paul Barber commented,
‘The Rose Bowl is one of the most exciting places in cricket today. Its development plans will put it at the forefront of Cricket in this country and its planned Hotel and Golf Course expansion, will also create a destination resort venue to rival many across the world. I am delighted to be joining the Rose Bowl plc Board at this fascinating time and look forward to working with Rod and his Board.’

Paul Barber, 42, joined the Board of Tottenham Hotspur in 2005. Prior to this, he held a number of senior commercial and marketing roles including spells at Ogilvy & Mather, the US-based advertising group, The Football Association, and Barclays Bank. A lifelong Spurs fan, Paul is married with 3 children and lives in Hertfordshire.
