Rose Bowl Development Plans Recieve Government Green Light

Rose Bowl Development Plans Receive Government Green Light

The Government Office South East (GOSE) has ratified the unanimous approval awarded on March 31st by Eastleigh Borough Council, for The Rose Bowl’s £45million development of the venue.

Statutory obligations meant that the approved plans had to be reviewed by the Government’s regional body, GOSE, and their ratification signals the successful climax of the planning process and paves the way for the project to enter its next phase, the appointment of the building contractors.

Rose Bowl plc Chairman, Rod Bransgrove commented:

‘This is fantastic news as it brings the realisation of our superb new development a major step closer. It is worth reminding ourselves that this development is not just about the Hotel and International cricket, although they are both vital elements in securing the future of our Club – the new ground development will also provide a fabulous environment for County Cricket and I am particularly excited for our loyal Hampshire Members who will soon be able to enjoy some of the best facilities in the Country.’
