Rose Bowl Firework Spectacular
Established as the largest stadium display in the South, thousands of firework fans flocked to The Rose Bowl to see a gigantic display set to music from the movies.
A full funfair featured many rides to keep thrill seekers happy before and after the main display.
The event was organised in association with Wave 105.2 FM, the radio station which plays the south’s best variety of hits. Wave’s breakfast DJ Steve Power was the host for the evening‘s entertainment. He soon had the Wave roadshow stage jumping with competitions to warm up the crowd.
Steve welcomed The Rose Bowl’s special guest to the stage….straight from LA, Mr Robbie Williams, aka JK! He really got the crowd jumping.
The Rose Bowl filled with people and excitement as the time neared to the start of the display. Wave VIP competition winners were invited to the stage to ‘push the plunger’ and start the display. The Way family from Fareham began the countdown………
Guests enjoyed a truly spectacular display which lit up the sky above the ground.
