Pitch inspection at 2:00pm - Further pitch inspection to be made at 3:15pm. Light showers over The Rose Bowl.
Hampshire Cricket were able to accommodate a small number of Car Parking Season Ticket Holders in the car parks at The Rose Bowl yesterday, as a few areas of the grass car parks had dried up sufficiently.
Unfortunately the persistent rain during the afternoon with more forecast for today means that it is very unlikely that there will be any parking available on site today as the grass areas remain waterlogged.
Disabled supporters will be accommodated on the limited tarmac car parking available on-site.
Regular inspections of the car parks will continue and if the conditions improve the decision will be reviewed at the earliest opportunity. Whilst, it is hoped that the weather will improve sufficiently to allow on site car parking later in the week, and on Sunday for the Pro 40 game against Essex Eagles, spectators are advised to have alternative arrangements in place.
Hampshire Cricket apologises for the inconvenience this causes our members and spectators.
