International Cricket Travel Information

This information will help you plan your journey to and from The Rose Bowl. We recommend that you plan your journey to and from the ground carefully.

Parking at or close to The Rose Bowl is strictly limited to hospitality guests, Hampshire Cricket Members and disabled spectators. Hampshire Cricket Members and disabled spectators can book their parking space by calling the Ticket Office on: 0800 197 4404.

On Match Days there is a Controlled Parking Scheme in place on roads in the immediate vicinity of the ground and you are advised that any vehicle found to be parked in contravention of 'No Waiting' regulations may be dealt with by the Police.

THERE IS NO PARKING AT OR NEAR THE ROSE BOWL SITE UNLESS YOU HAVE PRE-BOOKED.

Free Bus Service from Local Railway Stations

The Rose Bowl will be operating a FREE shuttle bus service from Southampton Parkway and Hedge End stations, running from 10.30am until approximately 90 minutes after the close or abandonment of play.

There is nothing further to pay for this service. Please have your admission ticket to hand when boarding the buses.

Southampton Parkway Station - trains from London Waterloo to Bournemouth and Weymouth.

Hedge End Station - trains from Portsmouth, Winchester and Basingstoke.

Free Park & Ride - Public Parking

The Rose Bowl is operating two FREE Park & Ride schemes for this event. The main Park and Ride site is located at:

  • Park & Ride East: Junction 8: M27

There is a smaller secondary site in use at:

  • Park & Ride West: Junction 5: M27

Please follow the yellow and black signs from the relevant junction. The Park & Ride Car Parks will open from 10.30am until approximately 90 minutes after the close or abandonment of play.

There is nothing further to pay for this service. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IS PERMITTED.

For your ease and safety, please follow the instructions given by stewards and park where instructed. Parking is subject to availability. Please allow plenty of time for your journey.

Drop off and Pick-up points

The Rose Bowl operates two drop-off and pick-up points.

A) Drop off and Pick-up point - Adjacent to The Rose Bowl, off Botley Rd (B3035)

B) Disabled Only Drop-off and Pick-up - This facility is available for blue badge holders only.

THERE ARE NO DROP OFF OR PICK UP POINTS AT THE ROSE BOWL EXCEPT FOR BLUE BADGE HOLDERS. 

Travelling by Motorbike / Bicycle

Motorbikes and bicycles are permitted to park free at The Rose Bowl. All parking is subject to availability. 

Travelling by Public Bus Services

First Bus Southampton have services which connect The Rose Bowl to Southampton City Centre and Hedge End Station. For further information please visit www.firstgroup.com or call 0871 200 22 33.

Black Velvet Travel operate a service which connects The Rose Bowl (stopping at or close to the venue) with Southampton Parkway Station and Eastleigh Town Centre. For further information please visit www.velvetbus.info or call 023 8061 2288.

All vehicle parking is on the understanding that Rose Bowl PLC and its agents accept no responsibility in respect of loss or damage howsoever caused to vehicles, the contents thereof, or any injury to the occupant(s) thereof or any persons visiting the Car Park. All vehicle parking is subject to Rose Bowl PLC’s Terms and Conditions, details of which are available for inspection on request. All parking is subject to availability.
