NatWest Pro40 League Division One (Pro40)
Overview
This forty over competition is in its fourth year, after taking over from ‘Sunday League’ matches in 2006. And if 2009 is anywhere near as exciting for the Hawks, then we are all facing another roller coaster ride.
Hampshire play in the first division of this two tier competition having beaten Glamorgan in the play offs in 2006. At the play off stage, the worst performing teams in the top division play the best of the lower league to decide which team moves up and which drops down.
The Pro40 starts as soon as Twenty20 finishes and Hampshire’s first match of the competition is against the Yorkshire Phoenix on the 5th of August at The Rose Bowl.
August 5th - Pro40 Hampshire Hawks vs Yorkshire Phoenix (Floodlit)
Under ligts, newly promoted Yorkshire will be looking to impress in the top division of this competition against a strong Hawks side at The Rose Bowl.
Former Yorkshire player Michael Lumb will want to put one over on his former team.

August 25th - Pro40 Hampshire Hawks vs Gloucestershire Gladiators (Floodlit)
Having lost last years reduced overs fixture by 2 wickets, the Hawks will be out for revenge at the Rose Bowl.
Michael Lumb hit a magnificent 88 and Michael Carberry recorded a half century, but it was not enough to prevent Gloucestershire beating Hampshire at Cheltenham in the Pro40 competition.

September 13th - Pro40 Hampshire Hawks vs Somerset Sabres
Hampshire beat Somerset at Taunton last year by 5 wickets and will be hoping for much of the same this year as Hampshire play host to Justin Langer and his Somerset side.
Young Somerset keeper/batsman Craig Kieswetter is a key player for the Sabres and can be destructive at the top of the order.

September 19th - Pro40 Hampshire Hawks vs Nottinghamshire Outlaws
Former Hampshire Hawks batsman Adam Voges proved to be the thorn in Hampshire's side last year as he produced a brilliant knock of 85 which helped the Outlaws defeat the Hawks by 31 runs.
Michael Lumb recorded a half century and Chris Tremlett produced figures of 3-54.

Car Parking is available for all these matches on the day priced at £7 per vehicle. (Parking is available in advance at the same price)

Tickets purchased in the last 5 working days before the match will be collected at the Ticket Office on the match day.
Refund Policy for NatWest Pro40 Matches
Should the match be abandoned due to adverse weather conditions and with fewer than 20 overs having been bowled (unless the match has been completed), a full refund of the face value of the ticket will be offered. The match will be deemed to have been abandoned when the standing umpires for that match have declared it so.
Refunds can be claimed ONLY if the original ticket for the affected match is returned to The Rose Bowl Ticket Office at the following address: Ticket Office, The Rose Bowl, West End, Southampton, Hampshire, SO30 3XH. In no other circumstances will a refund be issued.
NO REFUND WILL BE MADE UNLESS TICKETS ARE RETURNED – PROOF OF PURCHASE ALONE, IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR A REFUND.
A £2 administration/postage fee will be deducted per refund application. More than 1 ticket can be refunded per application but the refund will be payable only to the person submitting the refund application.
Original tickets must be received by the Ticket Office within 28 days of the affected match and refunds will be issued within 28 days of the closing date for the receipt of refund applications.
